Exterior walls with
vapor barrier, plus 1/2-inch Styrofoam sheathing, house wrap,
interior and exterior finishes totaling approximate R20 value.
Ceiling will be blown fiberglass approximately 12 inches totaling
R40. And many other steps to make the house free of drafts,
comfortable and energy efficient.
All walls are string-lined and straightened before finish operations
are done to assure straight walls and floors.
Heavier floor systems. Designer shingles. Maintenance free
exteriors. Porches & Decks are pressure treated wood to eliminate
maintenance.
All closets
have double shelves to maximize closet space. All concrete slabs
such as garage, basement, porches and patios use 4 inches of
concrete, reinforced with steel mesh and rebar. All slabs are hooked
into the house to prevent settling and separation from foundation.
All doors equipped with three hinges to prevent warping or sagging.
Thermopane tilt windows and insulated doors all carefully placed,
plumbed and squared to prevent air leaks.
Top-quality craftsmanship and materials are used. Quality control
inspections are done personally by builder to ensure our high
standards.
